Position Summary

The Department of Advancement Services is currently seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills for an Administrative Support Associate position. Advancement Services is part of the Division of University Advancement, whose mission is to communicate the University’s message and needs to the public in a way that generates friends and funds for the institution. Other departments in the division include Alumni Affairs, Annual Giving, Development, Donor Relations, and Event Planning.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support and customer service to the Development Office

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate and schedule meetings and maintain calendars Gather and compile information in support of fundraising requests Create correspondence, mail merges, and lists for communication purposes primarily using Microsoft Office and Google Suite products. File, scan, organize and maintain documents and files Update constituent information and enter contact reports into UA Banner database system Process travel arrangements and reimbursements Access information, process and run reports using the UA Banner database system and Excel Provide superior customer service to all visitors and callers

Minimum Qualifications

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENCY; OR DEMONSTRATED POSSESSION OF THE COMPETENCIES NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE WORK.
