Position Summary

The Program Coordinator will assist with oversight and management of the Teaching Resources Center and SELF Design Studio. This includes supervising and training graduate and undergraduate library assistants, as well as assisting faculty, staff and students in the use of materials, equipment, and/or services provided by the TRC. Additional responsibilities include selecting, ordering and maintaining print, electronic, equipment and other materials for the TRC/SELF collection, troubleshooting equipment and software, generating statistical reports, and maintaining the TRC/SELF websites.

The Program Coordinator will work with the TRC director and assistant director to plan and promote events and outreach opportunities for the SOE, university and community.

Major duties and responsibilities:

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Supports the core values and mission of the School of Education –Teaching Resources Center with oversight of daily operations, providing support to faculty, staff and students. Collaborates with campus departments, individual faculty, university administrators, and students to support and develop program opportunities.

OUTREACH
Assist in cultivating partnerships across campus, including identifying staff and faculty expertise. Responsible for planning and implementing education activities that support campus and community innitiatives.

PROGRAM COORDINATION
Assist with planning, implementation and assessment of programs and activities to support SOE students and faculty. Develop new programming to enhance the role of the TRC and SELF Design Studio in course integration and student support.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters in Library​/Information Science ​from an ALA accredited institution or Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field with relevant library experience.
